AI Contract Overview
This contract is for the procurement of 309 units of an O-Ring, identified by the National Stock Number (NSN) 5331-01-179-1238, with a delivery timeline set at 57 days after order. The solicitation, numbered SPE7L1-26-T-193R, was issued by the Department of Defense’s Land Supply Chain office, with the place of performance in Anniston. The contract falls under NAICS code 339991 and is a federal solicitation, with responses due by March 23, 2026. The primary point of contact is Kelly Day, reachable via email and phone. A critical aspect of this contract is the inclusion of technical data subject to export control under ITAR and EAR regulations, meaning the data cannot be shared with foreign persons without prior authorization from the Department of State or Commerce. Compliance with DFARS 252.225-7048 is mandatory. The Defense Logistics Agency restricts distribution of the export-controlled technical data to contractors certified through the US/Canada Joint Certification Program, who have completed required training and questionnaires, and have been approved by the DLA authority. This ensures the sensitive technical information is properly managed and safeguarded throughout the procurement process.
