AI Contract Overview

The United States Army Contracting Command New Jersey, acting for Project Manager Soldier Lethality, awarded two fixed price prototype Other Transaction Agreements to Stryke Industries, LLC and Wise LED USA INC on September 27, 2019. These agreements focus on the development and delivery of Ocular Warning Lamp prototypes designed for integration into Remote Weapon Systems. The technology is intended to provide non-lethal capabilities to suppress, move, and deny targets in security zones or checkpoints while ensuring operators remain protected inside their platforms. If the government determines that the prototype project was successfully completed, there is a provision for a follow-on contract. This subsequent award, which may be a follow-on OTA or a Federal Acquisition Regulation based contract, could be granted without further competition to a single offeror for a quantity ranging from 100 to 5,000 Ocular Warning Lamps.
