Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) intends to solicit for OEM COMNAV MARINE HARBOR TUG AUTOPILOT REPAIR AND SYTEM UPGRADE. This requirement is sourced to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) COMNAV MARINE LTD as it is the original installer of the Autopilot system. Because ComNav Marine LTD designed and integrated the system, they retain the exclusive proprietary technical data, source code, and engineering expertise required to perform critical upgrades and complex troubleshooting.  In addition, the material and service must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed.


BRAND NAME STATEMENT: This acquisition is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) COMNAV MARINE LTD BRAND NAME requirement IAW Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 12.102 Restricting competition. Interested AUTHORIZED DEALERS may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes prior to the solicitation closing date. Offeror quotes shall include an AUTHORIZED DEALER letter and documentation from the OEM establishing that the parts are genuine including traceability to the manufacturer and manufacturer warranties.


In accordance with RFO 12.203(a), the Government will select the most advantageous offer based on the following evaluation factors in no relative
order of importance:
