Full Description

Office Workstations for AFIT: The solicitation number is FA8601-10-T-0078. The NAICS Code is 337214. The size standard is 500 employees. The office workstations are for personnel assigned to the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Force Support Directorate. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is UNICOR. Workstations must be compatible in terms of color and design with furniture previously purchased from UNICOR; and their components must be interchangeable with furniture currently in use. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government if received within five (5) days of this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely at the Government's discretion.
