THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND INFORMATION ONLY – THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) OR PROPOSAL (RFP).  NO AWARD WILL BE MADE RESULTING FROM THIS NOTICE


Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) requires a contractor to dispose of and recycle oil filled equipment in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement, under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 423930: Recyclable Material Merchant Wholesalers.  Small Business size standard is less than 125 employees. 


The Contractor shall provide all personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the service as described in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).  The Contractor shall provide all services including technical services to dispose of and recycle large oil filled equipment. The Contractor shall perform all services in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.


Interested parties must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM), representations and certifications must also be on record. These registrations can be done through the System for Award Management (SAM) for free at http://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
