The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, on behalf of the OPMED Warfighter Readiness, Performance and Brain Health Project Management Office and the Medical Prototype Development Laboratory, is conducting market research for an upgrade to its existing OMAX EnduroMax Pump Waterjet System, serial number J511584, originally purchased in 2011. The upgrade aims to transform the system into a 55100/30V configuration using exclusively OMAX-branded components to ensure compatibility with the current pump and water chiller subassemblies. Required items include a new abrasive jet table, variable speed solids removal system, laminar settling system, 64-bit computer controller upgrade, programmable motorized Z-axis with MAXject nozzle, rapid water level control, 600lb bulk abrasive delivery system, a pallet of 2200 lbs of garnet abrasive, unlimited free software licenses with lifetime updates, onsite assembly and operation verification by a factory technician, five days of manufacturer training, and a two-year limited warranty. Phillips Corporation Federal Division is the only known government distributor for OMAX components, and if no capable alternatives are identified through this notice, the agency intends to proceed with a sole source task order under RFO 12.102(a) and 8.401. This notice is strictly for information gathering and is not a solicitation, nor does it obligate the government to award a contract. Interested parties must submit a capability statement, not exceeding three 8.5 x 11-inch pages in 10-point font or larger, along with detailed pricing information and convincing evidence of their ability to meet the requirements. Federal supply contract holders must include their GSA Contract number. Responses must be sent electronically as Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachments to the designated email addresses by 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on June 4, 2026. The government will evaluate submissions to determine whether to pursue a competitive procurement or proceed with a sole source award, and failure to provide substantiated capabilities will not be considered an affirmative response. No competition is guaranteed, and all information received will be used solely for planning purposes. The solicitation number is HT9427-26-Sources-Sought-OMAX-Water-Jet, with a NAICS code of 333517, and points of contact are Katherine Ramsburg and Julie Burns.

Draeger Perseus A500
Solicitation # HT940626QE112
The Defense Health Agency intends to award a firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract to Draeger Inc. for the procurement of seven Draeger Perseus A500 anesthesia workstations integrated with the Infinity Acute Care System (IACS). These units will serve as one-for-one replacements for end-of-life systems at Winn Army Community Hospital in Fort Stewart, Georgia, which have reached their ten-year service limit. The acquisition includes the necessary labor, travel for repairs and preventative maintenance, and parts to ensure optimized equipment uptime. Delivery is required within eight weeks of the order issuance. The sole-source justification is based on the need for clinical standardization, patient safety, and seamless integration with the Infinity M540 patient monitor and the Military Health System Genesis electronic health record. By utilizing the Draeger system, the government aims to avoid approximately 120,000 dollars in retraining costs and 45,000 dollars in redundant supply chain expenses. The procurement is categorized under NAICS code 339112 and is funded via the Defense Health Program. While the agency intends to negotiate with Draeger Inc., it is accepting capability statements from other authorized OEM dealers or distributors until September 13, 2026, to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted.
