Omnidirectional Long-Range High-Gain Antennas

The Texas Department of Public Safety Homeland Security Division is conducting market research through a Request for Information to identify commercially available omnidirectional, long-range, high-gain antennas. These solutions are intended to integrate with existing cell-enabled, motion-activated camera systems deployed along the Texas/Mexico border to ensure reliable, multi-carrier cellular connectivity in deep fringe and low-coverage areas without the need for manual directional alignment. The agency is seeking technical data regarding decibel gain, radiation patterns, and VSWR specifications, as well as confirmation of compatibility with AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, 4G LTE, 5G networks, and FirstNet Band 14. Interested respondents must provide an itemized parts list including mounting brackets and low-loss RF cables, suggested deployment strategies for rugged terrain, and a proposed timetable for configuration, testing, and acceptance. Equipment should ideally feature an IP67 or higher ingress-protection rating and be capable of operating in temperatures of 120 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.
