On-Call Architect Services

Davis County is seeking qualified professional architects to establish a non-exclusive, multi-vendor pool for on-call architectural services. The objective is to create a services-on-demand framework to accelerate the design process for small to medium-sized projects. The scope of work encompasses a broad range of capabilities, including feasibility studies, master planning, residential and commercial construction design, project management support, and construction administration. All designs must adhere to the Americans with Disabilities Act, International Energy Conservation Codes, and local zoning regulations. The resulting contracts will have an initial five-year term with an option to extend for an additional five years. Task orders will be assigned at the County's discretion based on a vendor's specific strengths and current capacity, with no guarantee of work volume or rotation between vendors. Compensation will be based on negotiated not-to-exceed fees derived from approved hourly billing rates, with payments issued within 30 days of satisfaction. Vendors must be registered with the Utah Department of Commerce and maintain comprehensive insurance coverage, including professional liability of 1 million dollars per occurrence and 2 million dollars aggregate. Proposals are evaluated via a weighted scoring system and may require oral interviews or demonstrations. Submission of a business confidentiality claim and a signed proposal form are mandatory requirements for consideration.
