Scope: On-call coating specialist services shall be requested on an on-call, as-needed basis for various utility infrastructure. Utility infrastructure may include: • Storage tanks and associated structures • Buried and above-ground pipelines • Drainage channels and basins • Treatment facility equipment • Pump and sump stations Requested on-call coating specialist services may include (but are not limited) to the following: • Coatings damage and failure assessments • Providing recommendations for repair of existing coating systems • Providing recommendations for options of coating materials for specialized applications (including but not limited to NSF-61 certification, underwater, gap sealing, and structural reinforcement applications) • Coating assessments of various types of coating materials (including but not limited to high-solids epoxies, polyurethanes, and high performance coatings) on various surface types (including but not limited steel, concrete, fiberglass, and plastics) and within various conditions including but not limited to confined spaces, underwater, and elevated structures. • Evaluation of surface preparation for coatings • Warranty assessments
