ON-CALL DEMOLITION SERVICES

The City of Quincy, through the Department of Public Buildings, is soliciting bids for on-call demolition services under solicitation number BD-26-1163-PD888-PD888-134898. The selected qualified and responsible contractor or contractors will provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision for the demolition of municipal buildings and projects as directed by the Commissioner of the Department of Public Buildings. These services are governed by Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149, and all resulting projects will be classified as prevailing wage projects. Because this is an on-call contract, specific projects will be negotiated as they arise, and awarded contractors must provide quotes based on provided specifications. The City will give first consideration to firm bid prices and reserves the right to reject any bids to act in the best interest of the municipality. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked On-Call Demolition to the Office of the Purchasing Department at City Hall, 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02169, by November 12, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. Electronic quotes are not permitted.
