On Call Electrical Services 26-27

The City of Scotts Valley is soliciting qualifications from firms to provide on-call electrical services for city-owned buildings, parks, facilities, and infrastructure. The contract is structured as a three-year professional services agreement beginning July 1, 2026, with an option to extend for two additional years. The scope of work includes maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, emergency response, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, including panels, breakers, LED retrofits, generators, and control systems. All work must comply with the California Electrical Code, Cal/OSHA requirements, and applicable building and safety standards. Services are requested on an as-needed basis and may require availability during normal business hours, weekends, and holidays. Submissions are due by September 11, 2026, via the OpenGov Procurement portal. The selection process uses a points-based scoring method evaluating responsiveness, firm qualifications, approach, references, and the negotiated contract fee. Award will be granted to the team deemed most advantageous to the City. The selected consultant must adhere to the City of Scotts Valley Standard Form Professional Services Agreement, which includes specific insurance requirements and a conflict of interest stipulation. Payments will be made based on itemized monthly invoices contingent upon satisfactory performance. The City maintains the right to terminate the agreement with fifteen days written notice.
