Purpose: The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research to determine, in particular; the capability of sam.gov registered Small Business entities to provide the commercial supply described below. ARS will accept responses from ALL socioeconomic categories in order to gain a more complete understanding of the market for these supplies. 3. Requirement Description: 3.1. Requirement Location: See Place of Performance above. 3.2. The USDA-ARS has a need for an Open Path Gas Analyzer. The requirement is for an open-path eddy covariance system with integrated CO2/H2O gas analyzer (IRGASON) units to measure sonic sensible heat flux, momentum flux, and the flux of the other scalars between the earth's surface and the atmosphere. The system requires a datalogger, fast response three-dimensional sonic anemometer, and fast response scalar sensors. The IRGASON equipped system shall also measure carbon dioxide flux, latent heat flux, temperature, humidity, and wind direction. 4.
