Operation and Maintenance of BBG's Lebanon FM Radio Network

This posting constitutes the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) notice of intent to negotiate and award a sole source contract as required under FAR 5.2 Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. BBG intends to negotiate and award a sole source firm fixed price contract under authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i) Sole Source Acquisitions for Operation and Maintenance of BBG's FM Radio Network in Lebanon. BBG will negotiate on a sole source basis with Hi Tech Broadcast, Inc., 91 Main Street, P.O. Box 3098, Road Town Tortola, Territory of the Virgin Islands for the above mentioned Service. Hi Tech Broadcast, Inc. has been providing high quality broadcast services for the operation and maintenance of BBG's FM Radio Network since 2012. Due to unforeseen contractual delays, it has become necessary to bridge this contract for another six (6) months so that a new solicitation and contract can be awarded. A change in vendor will result in disruption to BBG's FM broadcast services and will ensure failure of the agency's mission to continue broadcasting in the Middle East Regions. This services has a North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code of 515112- Radio Stations. Size Standard -$38,500,000.00. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes. This notice if for information purposes only. This is not a request for competitive quotes, however Contractors all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency, within 15 days after the date of the publication of this Notice. The quote shall be sufficient enough in detail for BBG to make an evaluation of acceptability without any additional submissions. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
