The purpose of this Contract is to provide for the Operation and Maintenance of five Transportation Auxiliary General Ocean Surveillance (T-AGOS) vessels and one Transportation Auxiliary General Missile Range Instrumentation (T-AGM) vessel. The Contractor will provide personnel, operational and technical support (ashore and afloat), equipment, tools, and supplies to operate and maintain the fleet. The T-AGOS vessels, USNS VICTORIOUS (T-AGOS-19), USNS LOYAL (T-AGOS-22), USNS EFFECTIVE (T-AGOS-21), USNS IMPECCABLE (T-AGOS-23), and USNS ABLE (T-AGOS-20), are Government-owned ships under the operational and administrative command of the Commander Military Sealift Command (COMSC), who also exercises Type Commander (TYCOM) functions and supports the Navy?s Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System (SURTASS) operations. The T-AGM is comprised of public vessel USNS HOWARD O LORENZEN (T-AGM-25), which is a Government-owned ship under the operational and administrative command of COMSC, who also exercises TYCOM functions and supports the U.S. Air Force (USAF)?s Dual Band Radar (DBR) efforts in monitoring worldwide missile launches.
