Full Description

This is a pre-solicitation MARKET SURVEY to obtain commercial information relative to the operation of a Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) to include: (1)vehicle and equipment dispatch and operation, (2)fleet management, (3)coordination of maintenance for leased vehicles, (4)driver training and testing in support of mobilization and demobilization operations. The contractor shall provide their personnel the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to perform tasks as required to include steel toe safety boots and protective gloves, if required. Personnel will adhere to dress and appearance standards provided by the Government point of contact (POC). All contracted personnel in the TMP section are considered Phase A personnel and are deemed mission essential. 87th Contracting Squadron LGCA is conducting market research ONLY. No award will be made as a result of this synopsis nor are any solicitation materials available. Information requested includes commercial methodologies and practices relative to the above transportation/dispatch services, including contract type(s), known market forces, challenges to successful acquisition and current industry standards, processes and practices.
