The Contractor must supply and deliver a new Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) to replace the existing unit, which has reached the end of its service life and no longer meets the required reliability for operational and safety standards. The ATS is a critical component of the electrical distribution system and is required to automatically transfer the electrical load from the normal utility supply to the standby generator supply in the event of a power interruption. The proposed ATS must be new, must conform to all applicable codes and standards, and must be suitable to ensure reliable, continuous operation of the facility without interruption of service.
