Full Description

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT - 1.1 Overview of Commodities. The purpose of this requirement is to replace current conference tables with high quality custom-made modular tables for the Headquarters United States Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa (HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA) Battle Staff and Operational Planning Team (OPT) rooms, building 201, rooms A-115B/ and A-115A on Ramstein Air Base. The custom modular tables will allow the HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA leadership expanded capabilities during operations, i.e. full setup of computer systems for Battle Staff functions or in the operational planning configuration where all the equipment is stored away for planning purposes. - 1.2 Background Information. The contractor shall provide custom designed modular tables to accommodate a 24/7 command node for the USAFE-AFAFRICA Headquarters. The custom tables are specifically designed to fit two different sized conference rooms, with one table supporting 27 users and the other 21 users, as well as providing 4 additional workstations for 6 users in the back of each room. The conference tables are used in two configurations, first is in conference/operational planning mode with the table top clear. The second, will be in Battle Staff mode when the command directorates support real-world operations or support Joint and Multi-National exercises. This customized modular conference table is designed to hold a SIPR Zero Client and a NIPR SFF PC per workstation, the head tables and rear workstations will support two additional coalition Zero Clients per user, customized cable tray and air cooling for PCs are built in as well as storage for the VOIP/VOSIP and LCD monitors. SITE VISIT INFORMATION 4.1 A site visit, while not mandatory, is highly encouraged to be attended by interested vendors. The 13th of July 2018 at 1000.
