The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit on a sole-source basis to Thermo Electron North America LLC (Cage: 3WXJ7) for the procurement of annual calibration, preventative maintenance, and technical support services for Optical Emission Spectrometer and Fourier-Transform infrared (FTIR) equipment in support of the NAWCADLKE Materials Laboratory.


The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
