The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this Sources Sought Synopsis for information only to locate sources who are capable. MacDill AFB, requires an Optifill-II PPS Checkstation 1 ea, to include a Direct Thermal Label Printer 1 ea, installation and a one year service agreement for the first year IAW PWS dated 17 Sep 2008 (see attachment). The system operates on Optifill PPS Software and licenses and must be configured and integrated with th current Optifill Automated Refill System currently in place. This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 423450 and the size standard is 500. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 PM EST on 19 February, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar work described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business), business size based on NAICS 423450, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal.
