The Canadian Wildlife Service (CWS) requires the services of a Contractor who can provide preliminary options to identify critical habitat (CH) for barren-ground caribou (BGCA) in Canada, if listed. In addition, this review must include how Indigenous Knowledge can be incorporated into this process and how to address possible gaps in knowledge (both science and TK\IQ).Objective. To engage the services of a Contractor who has the expertise, experience and equipment to:Review documents,Gather and assess published and/or unpublished information,Determine options for CH identification methods/approaches,Provide examples of how Indigenous Knowledge has been Included in the process, andIdentify knowledge gaps.
