The Canada Energy Regulator (CER) requires a Contractor to undertake pre-abandonment document preparation (Environmental Protection Plan, including mitigation and management plans and Environmental Alignment Sheets), and surveys in preparation for future physical abandonment activities of the Pipeline. The contract for further abandonment activities will be a separate process and will be at the discretion of the CER.
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31, 2024 inclusive.
