The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (City) is seeking bids from qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide construction services for the City's Capital Improvements Department, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation to Bid (ITB). This Project is located at 2220 NW 21st Ave., in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and installation of new playground equipment, including all associated safety surfacing and site improvements; construction of a new outdoor fitness area complete with fitness equipment, safety surfacing, and shade structure; installation of new picnic tables, benches, signage, and site furnishings; construction of new concrete sidewalk paths and accessible pedestrian connections throughout the park; restoration and renovation of existing restroom facilities; upgrades to the existing park lighting system, including replacement and enhancement of lighting fixtures and associated electrical components; installation of a new ADA-accessible parking stall and associated accessibility improvements; restriping of existing parking spaces; installation of landscaping improvements; and construction of a new ADA-accessible route connecting park amenities, including the play courts and recreational facilities.
