LETTING LOCATION: 1074 Highway 90 Chipley POSTING DATES: 12/04/2025 and 12/18/2025 CONTRACT DAYS: CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: N/A The Improvements under this Work Document-Driven contract consists of cleaning, reshaping, and removing undesirable materials from outfall ditches on the state roadway system within Jackson & Washington Counties. Specific locations will be provided on each work document. This work may include removal and disposal of fallen trees, woody vegetation, overhanging limbs, and other debris located within the outfall ditch areas to maintain maximum drainage function. This work may also include mowing and weed eating, The ditch width specified in the pay item(s) shall include the ditch bottom width and side slopes. Access to ditches may be limited, therefore, plan to perform all necessary work from within the limits of the ditch. If right of entry is required, the contractor is responsible for obtaining permission from the landowner and restoring the property to its original condition at no cost to the Department. Maintenance of Traffic, Mobilization, and Erosion Control are incidental to the pay items listed. This contract has a Budgetary Estimate of $200,000.00. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department estimated quantities and the Contractors bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder, however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed.
