On January 10, 2025, the Naval Air Systems Command issued a 3,697,701 dollar modification, P00003, to L3Harris Technologies Integrated Systems of Waco, Texas. This action pertains to Order N0001924F0120 under the P-8A Airframe Depot Maintenance and Repair Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract N0001924D0120. L3Harris was previously selected as the Second Best Value IDIQ MAC Awardee and the Years 1 through 3 Secondary Awardee following a full-and-open competitive solicitation for the FY25-FY29 performance period. The modification serves to exercise contract options and procure the incorporation of Service Bulletins into P-8A Poseidon aircraft. This specific procurement was conducted on a sole-source basis under a Justification for Exception to Fair Opportunity to ensure economy and efficiency, as the work is a logical follow-on to the existing order and avoids duplicative disassembly and transport costs. The incorporation of these Service Bulletins is managed under a Time-and-Materials CLIN in accordance with the corresponding IDIQ contract terms.
