The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, CA (FISCSD) Port Hueneme site for the Naval Facilities Expeditionary Logistics Command (NFELC) intends to issue a Sole Source Purchase Order to Wing Inflatables, Arcata, CA. The requirement is for P/N WG8300010 Sponsons for 34 patrol boat, quantity 4 each. P/N WG3520010 Sponson repair kits that include foam, bladder and sheath for the port, starboard and bow part of a 34 ft SeaArk Dauntless patrol boat, quantity 20 each. NAICS code is 326199 and size standard is 500 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes that it can meet the specifications above may give written notification via e-mail to the contracting officer. No solicitation document will be issued. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This purchase will be under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source for other than full and open competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The Government anticipates an award date on or about 29 AUG 2008.
