Packaging, Marking, and Hazardous Materials Compliance

The contract requires the packaging and marking of cable assemblies in strict accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129 standards, ensuring all components are properly labeled, secured, and documented for military logistics and handling. Compliance with these military specifications is mandatory to guarantee interoperability, traceability, and durability throughout the supply chain. In addition, the contractor must prepare and submit Safety Data Sheets that fully meet OSHA and federal hazardous materials regulatory requirements, addressing the proper identification, handling, storage, and emergency response procedures for any substances associated with the assemblies. This work is being executed as a subcontract under the Department of Defense’s ASC Commodities Division, with all performance expected to be completed by the response deadline of May 7, 2026, following the NAICS code 561910 for other support services.
