It incorporates strict technical and quality requirements as per the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Master List, including compliance with DLA packaging standards (RP001) and MIL-STD specifications for packaging, marking, and preservation. The packing material must be sealed in medium duty, waterproof, greaseproof, opaque bags following MIL-DTL-117, Type II, Class C, Style 1, to prevent deterioration from UV exposure. Marking requirements must adhere to MIL-STD-129 without any special markings, and physical identification must meet the standards outlined for specific part numbers and suppliers, such as Rolls-Royce Corporation and Sackner Products Inc. Inspections and acceptance of the materials will occur at the point of origin with sampling plans in accordance with MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 standards. The contract explicitly excludes the need for item unique identification upon request of the service customer per DFARS 252.211-7003.
