This solicitation is for the procurement of five padlock sets under contract number SPE7L1-26-T-04T2 for the Department of Defense Land Supply Chain. The items must be manufactured according to current military or consensus non-government part standards, with a delivery requirement of 20 days after the order. Each padlock and its matching keys must be legibly stamped with a serial number for identification, ensuring the number does not relate to the key bitting. The contract mandates strict adherence to DLA packaging requirements, specifying that sets be placed in commercial weather-resistant fiberboard boxes while avoiding unnecessary plastics for wrapping or cushioning. Quality assurance will be managed through sampling methods such as MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with a general requirement for zero non-conformances in sample lots. Notably, grade requirements related to the ASTM F883 9.6 Key Bumping Test are explicitly excluded from this requirement.
