The Town tested the exterior for lead paint, none present.Scope of WorkThe successful bidder shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment.Exterior painting of the Aiken Barn.Prepare, pressure wash, scrape, sand all areas of the building where failing paint is present.Apply a bonding primer to all scraped bare wood surfaces.Caulk all areas as needed for gaps, cracks or failed joints are present.Apply 2 coats of high-quality paint on all exterior siding and trim in like colors.Paint all siding, sashes, doors, railings, and shutters.Protection of landscaping, sidewalks, steps, doors, windows and adjacent properties from paint debris and overspray.Collection containment, and proper disposal of all paint chips, dust, empty containers and waste material.Removal of all equipment, debris, and materials from Town property upon completion of the project.General InformationAward of Contract – The Board of Selectmen will review proposals and make the final selection.
