Painting services in Milan, Italy

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The U.S. Consulate in Milan, Italy will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The solicitation covers the painting services for the U.S. Consulate and leased residential quarters in Milan, Italy.

The Contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to perform all services as required in the contract.  This service is to be performed at approximately 20-25, between offices and residences. 

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with (2) two one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposal.

This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)

And its residential leased properties.   For security reasons we cannot release the list of our USG leased residential quarters in a public solicitation.  The final list can be distributed only to the awarded contractor.

Areas of town that might be involved:

• Milan city center– Inside Area C;
• Milan Outside Area C;
• Or other locations approximately within one hour driving distance from Milan, Italy.

Upon confirmation of orders each location and address will be provided in each Task Order by the COR.
