AI Contract Overview
This contract covers the supply of electrocardiograph recording paper specifically designed for ECG machines with thermal printer units. The product consists of thermal paper rolls measuring 58 mm in width and 25 meters in length, intended for medical acquisitions. Packaging requirements stipulate that each unit must be securely packaged in sealed containers to prevent damage during shipment, with commercial exterior shipping containers ensuring safe delivery at the lowest carrier rate to the designated delivery point. The material must also comply with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, superseding previous military standards. The contract involves a total quantity of six packages, each containing five individual rolls, with delivery expected within 20 days after order. It incorporates specific technical and quality requirements referenced by the Defense Logistics Agency Master List, with packaging and label removal protocols outlined for government identification on rejected supplies. The solicitation is managed by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain, and all procurement terms, including request for quotations and documentation, are accessible through the DLA’s electronic procurement platform. The point of contact for this acquisition is Tiffany Parker.
