Para Helmets

The Department of National Defence, through the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre, is soliciting quotes for various types and sizes of impact-rated parachuting helmets, including full-face and open-face models. These helmets, along with accessories such as transparent visors and black aluminum side plates, are required to support the Canadian Armed Forces Military Freefall Parachutist courses, specifically the Military Square Parachute Instructor course and the Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team known as the SkyHawks. The procurement expresses a preference for Canadian goods and services and requires that all products strictly adhere to the specified brand, model, and part numbers, as substitute products will not be accepted. The contract will be awarded to the responsive bidder that meets all mandatory technical requirements and offers the lowest evaluated price in Canadian dollars. All deliverables must be received by January 15, 2027. Shipping terms are Delivery Duty Paid for most suppliers, while foreign-based contractors will operate under FCA Incoterms 2020. The procurement includes specific requirements for environmentally preferable packaging, requiring materials to be reusable, returnable, or recyclable. There are no security clearances required for this contract, and the government retains the right to inspect all work at the contractor's plant.
