Contract AID-176-C-10-00003 is an award for the Parliamentary Strengthening Program in Kyrgyzstan, managed by USAID/Central Asia and implemented by Development Alternatives International (DAI). This specific notice details a sole-source modification to the agreement, which expanded the scope of work and increased the contract ceiling from 3,249,799 dollars to 7,139,740 dollars. Key initiatives include improving access to English-language resources, enhancing the quality of public policy research and analysis, and continuing the Youth Parliament activity to engage citizens in democratic processes. The justification for the non-competitive modification was based on the need for DAI's highly specialized services and existing relationships with the Jogorku Kenesh to prevent unacceptable delays and costs.
