Paso Robles Groundwater Basin Groundwater Monitoring Well Network Wellhead Elevation Surveying Services

The County of San Luis Obispo is soliciting professional surveying services under Informal RFP 1997 to establish individual wellhead elevations for approximately 130 wells within the Paso Robles Basin Groundwater Monitoring Network. The project requires the establishment of reference point elevations surveyed to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988, with a required accuracy within 0.5 foot and a preference for 0.1 foot or less. Because the majority of these wells are located on private properties, the selected consultant must coordinate closely with the County Director of Groundwater Sustainability to prevent adverse impacts or damages to private property. This is a time and materials contract with total fees not to exceed 200,000 dollars, funded by California Department of Water Resources Grant Agreement No. 4600014639. Award selection is based on identifying the best qualified firm through an evaluation of technical proposals and cost reasonableness. Mandatory requirements include compliance with California prevailing wage laws, registration with the Department of Industrial Relations, adherence to the CARB Advanced Clean Fleets regulations, and compliance with nondiscrimination laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
