Caltrans proposes a pavement rehabilitation project along the I-805 offramp to Clairemont Mesa Boulevard (PM 22.867) and southbound I-805 onramp from westbound Clairemont Mesa Boulevard (PM 22.482). Caltrans will perform pavement rehabilitation on connector ramps and potentially the adjacent merge lane by removing 0.20’ of existing asphalt concrete pavement and replacing with 0.20’ rubberized hot mix asphalt (gap graded). The existing dike, rumble strips, and thermoplastic retroreflective striping are to be removed and replaced in kind. No expected soil disturbance or excavation will be deeper than 0.20’.
