This procurement is in support of Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA). PBA performs a variety of missions for the Department of Defense, including the manufacture and demilitarization of ammunition and related components. To accomplish this mission within the environmental protections established by the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Restoration and Compensation Liability Act (CERCLA), and the Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) regulations. In addition to the aforementioned regulations, to accomplish the mission, PBA must comply within requirements established by the Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP). PBA is seeking contract services related to these requirements. This effort will augment on-going on-site laboratory evaluations in several media.
