PCE-Round 3 Prop 1 Implementation Groundwater Well And Treatment Improvement Project (Packet 3)

The City of San Luis Obispo is soliciting bids for the PCE-Round 3 Prop 1 Implementation Groundwater Well and Treatment Improvement Project. This initiative focuses on upgrading two existing groundwater wells by installing new well buildings constructed with concrete foundations, masonry walls, and steel roof frames. The project includes the implementation of a consolidated granular activated carbon treatment system featuring prefiltration, pressure vessels, chemical systems for chlorination and fluoridation, and backwash storage tanks. The scope of work extends to installing well pumps and mechanical piping that will connect the treatment system to the municipal water connection on Calle Joaquin, requiring a crossing under Highway 101. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for electrical improvements, the installation of an operator interface terminal, and necessary SCADA modifications.
