Full Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO on a sole source for peculiar support equipment needed in support basis of the the F/A-18 E/F Aircrafts at the Organizational (O-Level) and Intermediate (I-Level) levels of maintenance for the Blue Angels transition from the F/A-18 A/B/C/D aircrafts. See attached parts list for part numbers and quantities. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c ) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based on the response to this notice, is solely in the discretion of the Government.
