Full Description

The United States Coast Guard, MLC Atlantic intends to issue a purchase order with Peerless Manufacturing Company for the following items: One each (1ea) 316L Stainless Steel Peerless Single-Stage Moisture Separator Assembly fabricated with PMC P2-XLP vanes. The dimensions for this unit are 70.625 high x 58.625 wide, reference PMC Drawing number 3756-D1150101 Revision 3. The second unit to be purchased will be as follows: One each (1ea) 316L Stainless Steel Peerless Single-Stage Moisture Separator Assembly fabricated with PMC P2-XLP vanes. The dimensions for this unit are 56.625 high x 28.5 wide, reference PMC Drawing number 3756-D1150101 Revision 3. Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Peerless Manufacturing Company is the only company that has the technical propriety data necessary to manufacturer the required parts. The requirement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition procedures per FAR Part 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all information received within five (5) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. The Government's determination not to compete is based on this Manufacturer's use of proprietary data within the production process. The use of such descriptions in this acquisition is essential to the Government's requirements, thereby precluding consideration of a product manufactured by another company. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
