Peterson SFB Backflow/Cross Connection Survey

The 21st Civil Engineering Squadron at Peterson Space Force Base is seeking a one-time service to conduct a comprehensive backflow prevention and cross-connection survey of all non-housing facilities across the base, in accordance with the five-year regulatory requirement to ensure water supply safety. The survey must inventory approximately 213 existing backflow prevention devices across 182 buildings totaling 3.8 million square feet, documenting device models, serial numbers, locations, and potential contamination hazards while providing corrective action recommendations. The work must comply with DAFMAN 32-1067 and UFC 3-600-01 standards, adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations, and follow strict operational protocols including restricted work hours, access control, and immediate reporting of newly discovered hazards. The contractor must submit a detailed survey plan 30 days prior to fieldwork, provide a draft report within 30 days of completion, and deliver a final report in electronic format and two hard copies after government review.
