Please note that late submissions will not be considered or accepted.Irrigation Upgrade AAFC Research Farm, Vauxhall, Alberta AAFC requires the development/update of a new pivot and linear irrigation system to replace and expand the existing system at the Vauxhall Research Farm facility located southwest of Vauxhall, Alberta. The Vauxhall sub-station occupies approximately 192 hectares, with about 120 hectares devoted to irrigated crop trials. The new irrigation system is supplying water to a low pressure irrigation systems. Project includes the repair/upgrade of existing tile drainage and new irrigation systems that include remote operation and monitoring capabilities. There are 5 existing pivot crop irrigation systems present that need replacement. The current systems also do not provide the coverage required by the AAFC’s research program. The existing pump house is in disrepair and cannot meet the requirements of the expanded coverage areas.
