AI Contract Overview
The Town of Palm Beach is seeking qualified Landscape Maintenance Contractors to provide comprehensive services at Phipps Ocean Park, with a focus on enhancing both native landscapes and botanical garden areas through a new, forward-thinking approach. Contractors must supply all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to meet the detailed service requirements, and must attend both a mandatory pre-proposal conference and a mandatory site visit to be eligible to submit a proposal. Submissions must be made exclusively through the Bonfire eProcurement platform, and proposals cannot be withdrawn for 120 days after the submission deadline. The award will be determined based on best value to the Town, which may consider more than just price, and the Town retains full discretion to reject all proposals or waive minor irregularities. The initial contract term is one year, with four optional one-year renewal periods contingent upon satisfactory performance, budget availability, and mutual agreement, allowing for a maximum contract length of five years. The Town is required by Florida law to determine vendor responsibility without regard to social, political, or ideological factors. All questions must be submitted through Bonfire’s messaging system, and communication regarding the solicitation is restricted to authorized Town procurement representatives to maintain integrity under the Cone of Silence. The deadline for submissions is July 27, 2026, and the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach will provide seminars to the selected contractor to ensure long-term success and alignment with the envisioned stewardship of the park’s unique horticultural features.
