The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide Physiotherapy Services to offenders at Grand Valley Institution for Women.
Objectives: To meet CSC’s mandate to implement primary health care and essential health services at all stages of an offender’s sentence: in particular the provision of physiotherapy in accordance with applicable professional health services standards and the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario professional practice standards and related guidelines.
Deliverables: To provide quality physiotherapy to the offenders population in accordance with professionally accepted standards including producing the related relevant reports and findings.
To document physiotherapy treatment in Electronic Medical Records as required.
To provide up to a maximum of 48 four-hour clinics during the initial contract period.
