The Pierce County Board of Commissioners will receive separate, sealed bids until 11:00am (local-time), Monday, July 27, 2026, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of rehabilitation improvements for Tiger Field Recreation Park for the county¿s awarded, Land and Water Conservation Fund Project, Grant Number: 13-01090 (P24AP01327). Project shall be funded from the Department of Natural Resources and /or other local funds specified).as funded by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. Bids will be opened and read.
The meeting will be held at Pierce County Board of Commissioners¿ Office and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Donna Golding, County Clerk for the Pierce County Board of Commissioners, 312 Nichols Street, Suite 5 Blackshear, Georgia 31516. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The Pierce County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.
The Scope of Work Includes: Rehabilitation improvements for Tiger Field Recreation Park.
All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Owner in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Owner. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
