AI Contract Overview
The contract covers the procurement of two units of a product described as "PIN, HOLLOW," with the National Stock Number 5315-00-098-6736, under solicitation SPE4A0-26-T-3024 issued by the Department of Defense's Aviation Supply Chain ESOC BUYS. The solicitation was posted on May 7, 2026, with responses due by May 15, 2026. The item must meet stringent packaging requirements specified by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and adhere to applicable technical and quality standards incorporated by reference from the DLA master list. Applicable military specifications include ASTM A513 or A519, MIL-DTL-16232, MIL-PRF-3150, and related sampling and inspection standards such as MIL-STD-1916, ASQ H1331, and MIL-STD-105/ASQ Z1.4. These requirements ensure the product conforms to critical, major, and minor attribute quality assurance levels and zero non-conformance acceptance criteria unless otherwise noted. Additionally, the contract imposes strict export control restrictions on technical data associated with the item. The data is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), prohibiting unauthorized export or disclosure to foreign persons unless proper government authorization is obtained. DLA restricts access to such export-controlled technical data to certified contractors who have completed mandatory training and have been approved under the US/Canada Joint Certification Program. The delivery of the two units is expected within five days after the award date, and all communications point to a single contract officer contact, ensuring compliance with detailed contract terms, including packaging, quality assurance, and export control provisions.
