PIN, QUICK RELEASE

The contract specifies the procurement of a quick release pin identified by part number MS17985C646 and NSN 5315013685289, manufactured in compliance with the current revision of the non-government standard NASM17985 Revision 2 dated 02/29/2016, with prior revisions of the standard also acceptable for hardware produced before the solicitation date. Technical and quality requirements are governed by the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which take precedence over all other standards including ASTM D3951 for packaging. Sampling and inspection follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1 unless otherwise directed, with zero non-conformances required under zero-based sampling unless the contract specifies otherwise. Attributes are classified as critical, major, or minor with corresponding verification levels or AQLs, and unspecified attributes default to major. The item must be physically marked in accordance with RQ017 and government identification removed from non-accepted supplies per RQ011. Six units are to be delivered FOB origin within 224 days of contract award, with no quantity variance allowed, and inspection and acceptance occur at the destination. Packaging must comply with ASTM D3951 and be labeled and marked per MIL-STD-129, with palletization following DLA’s RP001 packaging requirements.
