The contract specifies the procurement of two units of a straight, headless pin, identified by NSN 5315-00-436-6725. It includes adherence to technical and quality standards outlined in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with applicable revisions determined by the solicitation or award dates. Quality control procedures mandate sampling according to military standards MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with specified acceptance levels based on attribute criticality, and zero tolerance for non-conformance in sample lots unless otherwise stated. Identification marking requirements and removal of government identification for non-accepted supplies are also included, with inspection and acceptance to be conducted at the point of origin. The contract contains export control provisions due to the presence of technical data subject to ITAR and EAR regulations, restricting disclosure to authorized U.S. or Canadian contractors who have completed necessary training and certification processes approved by DLA. Item Unique Identification is waived per customer request. The delivery schedule requires receipt within five days after order, and ongoing contract administration and communication are facilitated through designated points of contact within the Department of Defense’s Aviation Supply Chain ESOC Buys office. The solicitation was issued on April 14, 2026, with responses due by April 22, 2026.
