Western Connecticut State University is seeking bid proposals for all labor and materials required to provide for a complete Roof Replacement of the Pinney Residence Hall building located on our Westside Campus in Danbury, CT. Please note: The CT Department of Labor’s Prevailing Wage Rates requirement shall apply to this project. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including nondiscrimination statutes and spending allocation goals. There is $1,300,000 in state-funding for this project. State law requires project-specific goals be set for this project based on the project’s needs and available Small Business Enterprises (“SBEs”) and Minority Business Enterprises (“MBEs”). The SBE goal for this project is 1.85% $24,111.00. The MBE goal for this project is 0.93% $12,056.00. The selected contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the spending allocation goals.
