The Air Operations Center (AOC) has a requirement for the purchase of training classes on the Sans SEC504: Hacker Tools, Techniques, Exploits and Incident Handling software that is essential to protecting the network security of the Air Operations Center Weapon System (AOC-WS). This training will provide Cybersecurity (CS) personnel with a thorough understanding of principles, theories, implementation procedures, hands-on training scenarios, practical exercise and delivery of instructional maintenance concepts required to protect the AOC 10.1 Increment baseline from security vulnerabilities. The system design documents, testing procedures, training, and security documents all refer to the particular Sans SEC504: Hacker Tools, Techniques, Exploits and Incident Handling training products. Any deviations to the current configuration would affect the system as designed. Further, the system security accreditation, which is a rigid and lengthy process, is based on the specific training selected for the system to be deployed. Use of other training with equivalent capabilities is not authorized by this accreditation and would result in the need to completely re-certify the system. The Period of Performance for this effort is from contract award date plus 12 months, not to exceed 31 December 2018. The anticipated award date is March 2018. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the effort in the timeframe listed above. Interested parties may submit unclassified responses to this notice by email. Deadline date for the submittals is 8 March 2018 at 12PM Eastern Standard to Courtney Ternullo at courtney.ternullo@us.af.mil.
