Installation personnel must be certified by equipment manufacturers or supervised by certified installers, and each project must include a qualified superintendent. Insurance requirements are stringent, mandating minimum coverage of $1 million for cyber liability, pollution liability, builders risk, installation floater, and commercial general liability, with policies issued by Florida-authorized carriers holding an A.M. Best rating of A-, Class VII or better. The County must be named as an additional insured, and insurance certificates must be submitted before work commences. Contractors are required to provide a five-year workmanship warranty at substantial completion, which supersedes any manufacturer limitations, and must submit digital warranty documentation. All playground systems require durable, vandal-resistant identification tags with manufacturer details and unique tracking numbers. Invoicing must occur monthly or upon job completion, include detailed labor timesheets using County templates, and be submitted electronically to the Finance Department; payment will be issued within 45 days per Florida statute upon proper invoice submission.
